So this morning I paid a visit to America's coffee imperialists, Starbucks, and was appalled by their daily poll question; Marvin Gaye vs. Smokey Robinson...much to my disappointment, Marvin Gaye held a 60-40 advantage over the man Bob Dylan once referred to as his favorite poet.
Do you agree with the customers of Starbucks on this, or do you side with myself and Mr. Dylan. In defense of the customers, Smokey has acknowledged that Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" is his favorite album of all time, but I find it absurd that the man who wrote "Sexual Healing" is somehow more relevant than the man who wrote "Second that Emotion" and "My Girl."

I'm sure Mr. Dylan and yourself have very good points. In fact, I quite agree. Personally, however, it's hard not to vote for the man who helps make my awkward dates more awkward:
"So baby, perhaps this will help.. Sexual healing."
Nuff said.
